 Insulation and fixation of the cell bottom involves bonding and securing the entire cell inside an aluminum/steel casing. This design cushions impacts, dampens vibrations and provides insulation, while helping control the cell’s dimensions within the casing – preventing short circuits caused by contact between the cell bottom and the casing, resisting contamination, and enhancing mechanical strength. It also prevents the jelly roll from loosening, achieves reliable termination insulation, and resists puncture damage.
