Jantape® PE430WE is a double-sided PE foam plate-mounting tape developed for flexographic printing. Combining quality PE foam with a customized acrylic adhesive system, it delivers fast initial tack, dependable conformity on curved surfaces, and controlled plate removal. Its medium-firm foam construction provides stable, reliable support throughout the flexographic printing process.
PE430WE is designed for mounting flexographic plates to printing cylinders and sleeves. The tape features a medium-firm PE foam backing coated with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on both sides, offering a practical balance of secure holding power and moderate removal force.
The foam construction conforms well to curved printing surfaces and helps resist plate-edge lifting during operation. Its controlled adhesion supports efficient plate mounting while allowing plates to be removed with appropriate force when the job is complete.

The selection of PE430WE flexographic plate-mounting tape should be matched to actual printing conditions, including flexographic plate material and thickness, cylinder or sleeve surface, printing geometry and curvature, press speed, ink or solvent system, and the required balance between holding power and plate-removal force. For optimal performance, ensure that application surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil or dust, and apply sufficient pressure with a roller or pressing device. Allow adequate time for the adhesive to develop full contact. Use at 15-28°C is recommended to help minimize adhesive ooze.
