Jantape® MT50124 is a double-sided PE foam plate-mounting tape for flexographic printing. Made of premium PE foam with acrylic adhesive system, it offers fast initial tack, great conformity on curved surfaces and controlled plate removal. It keeps steady adhesion during repeated plate changes. The high-performance foam provides reliable support in the full flexo cycle. It maintains stable resilience after tens of thousands of impressions, helping printers reduce costs and improve efficiency.
MT50124 is designed for mounting flexographic plates onto printing cylinders and sleeves. This tape features a medium-hard PE foam backing, double-coated with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. It delivers a well-balanced performance of reliable holding power and controlled removal force.
The foam substrate conforms excellently to curved printing surfaces and effectively prevents plate-edge lifting during running. Formulated for narrow web flexo printing and solid ink applications, its controlled adhesion enables efficient plate mounting. When the print run is finished, the plate can be cleanly removed with proper pulling force.

Storage Condition
Store at room temperature, away from light. The temperature should be 15-28℃, and the humidity should be 40%-70%.

The selection of MT50124 flexographic plate-mounting tape should be matched to actual printing conditions, including flexographic plate material and thickness, cylinder or sleeve surface, printing geometry and curvature, press speed, ink or solvent system, and the required balance between holding power and plate-removal force. For optimal performance, ensure that application surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil or dust, and apply sufficient pressure with a roller or pressing device. Allow adequate time for the adhesive to develop full contact. Use at 15-28°C is recommended to help minimize adhesive ooze.
