Roller-Press Splicing Spacer Tape PT03YI

PT03YI is a yellow PET roller-press splicing spacer tape designed for applications that require controlled splicing, accurate positioning, and defined spacing. Its thin PET film construction and purpose-designed adhesive layout provide a practical solution where reliable bonding and clearly defined non-coated areas are required.

PT03YI is constructed with a 20 μm PET film backing and acrylic adhesive. The tape features a controlled adhesive and non-coated zone layout, including adhesive bands on both sides, non-coated edge margins, and a central non-coated gap. This structure supports accurate placement and consistent spacing in roller-press splicing applications.

With a total thickness of 0.030 ± 0.005 mm, the tape offers a thin profile while maintaining mechanical strength. It delivers 180° peel adhesion of at least 6 N/25 mm, tensile strength of at least 80 N/25 mm, and elongation of at least 20%. After testing at 120°C for 0.5 hours, no adhesive residue is observed.

Additional Information

The selection of PT03YI Roller-Press Splicing Spacer Tape should be matched to actual process conditions, including the material and surface condition of the roller or substrate, required spacing dimensions, bonding area, applied pressure, line speed, mechanical load, process temperature, and removal requirements. Before application, ensure that bonding surfaces are clean, dry, smooth, and free of oil, dust, and other contaminants. Apply the tape with even pressure to achieve full adhesive contact and validate performance under actual production conditions.
